A sad farewell.

Silviu Stroie has proved himself to be a dedicated administrator.

With great sadness, International Esports Federation (IESF) has seen one of its Board members resign.

Silviu Stroie of Romania, has proved himself to be a dedicated and loyal member over the years. Having been elected onto the Board in 2013, Silviu quickly assumed the demanding mantle of Vice-President.

The functions involved in such office are to act as a replacement of the president and to sit
ex officio on all the Local Organising Committees for the various World Championships owned by IESF.

In his letter of resignation, Silviu wrote, “It has been a wonderful journey for the past 10 years with many achievements and I am sure that IESF will continue to accomplish great things in the following years.”

Silviu then went on to say, “IESF has great people in the Board and Secretariat so the entire organisation is in good hands.”

“I will be an integral and active part of the esports industry, but due to personal reasons my journey within IESF ends here. I would like to thank to every single one of you for being part of this great international body and I am sure that with some of you I will meet again in the future.”

IESF President, Colin Webster, stated, that “Silviu has always been a close friend, confidant, and colleague, and IESF wishes him all the best in all his endeavours”.
